‘A History of the Victoria Institute (now Faith & Thought)’
Saturday 22nd  September at 4:00pm, Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church, 235 Shaftesbury Avenue, London WC2H 8EP

Rev. Dr. Ian Randall is honorary chaplain of Ridley Hall, Cambridge and lectures widely on church history.  He will present a lecture focusing on the early history of The Victoria Institute (now Faith & Thought).  Formed shortly after the publication of Darwin’s ‘Origin of Species’,  how did the early institute address matters of conflict between science and religion?
